Obinna is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Member Chartered Portfolio Management Institute of Nigeria, an Associate chartered Security and Investment of UK and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Special (CAMS) of USA. He holds both B.Sc in Accounting and MBA in marketing both from the University of Lagos and a Master Degree (M.Sc) in Accounting from the University of Education Winneba, Ghana.

He has over twenty (20) years of working experience as an Accountant, Internal Auditor, Chief Compliance Officer in the Financial Services Sector, logistics and other sectors. He holds a certificate of completion of Internal Audit School from MIS Institute of UK. He is also a safety professional having obtained level 3 Health, Safety and Environment Certification. He has attended several self-development trainings locally and internationally

He is an astute trainer of many years and a Director at Pass Associate Limited, Africa’s Leading Tuition Centre that prepares professional students. He is a past Chairman of The Risk Management & Compliance Committee (RMCC) of Insurance in Nigeria and the former Assistant Head of Nigerian Chapter of Association of Certified Compliance Practitioners in Africa (ACCPA). He is the award winner of the African Risk Professional of the year 2016. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Association of Compliance Specialists of Africa (ACSA). He is also a member of the National Advisory Council of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (UK), Nigerian Chapter.

Mr Okafor, Obinna is a mentor with Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurial Foundation (TEEF), where he mentors upcoming entrepreneurs across Africa. He is also an e-tutor on Entrepreneurial Development at University of Lagos Distant Learning Institute, Lagos and a Part-time Lecturer with the College of Insurance and Financial Management, Ogun State, Nigeria. He has authored several books, a success career coach, a motivational speaker and has anchored many personnel and human development workshops and seminars locally and internationally.
